Garden sculptures
Garden sculptures resistant to sun and frost – Corten, stainless steel, resin. Original garden sculptures from a Polish sculpture studio.
Garden sculptures that like the weather
A good garden sculpture must withstand everything the year brings: July sun, November rain and February frost. That is why we make our garden sculptures from materials that feel most at home outdoors – Corten, stainless steel and UV-resistant resin.
Corten and steel – materials that mature in the garden
With every season Corten develops a deeper, rust-red patina and contrasts more strongly with greenery. Stainless steel works the opposite way: it reflects the garden and the sky, bringing light into the space. We make both versions by hand in our studio near Częstochowa – as originals or short series.
From a sculpture by the terrace to large forms
A contemporary garden sculpture works at the entrance, on the axis of a path, or as the crowning of a border. Large garden sculptures (up to 190 cm) shape the character of an entire property and work from every perspective – including in winter, when the garden rests. Forms from the Origami, Time-worn and Obrączka series were designed with greenery in mind.
Where to place a sculpture so it works all year
It is worth choosing a place in the garden with all seasons in mind, not only summer. Corten looks best against greenery – a lawn, hedge or shrubs – because the contrast of rust-red patina with plant colour builds the effect. Polished steel needs a more open space where it can reflect the sky and light, so it works well by a stretch of water, on the axis of a lawn, or in a place without dense shade. In winter, when the garden loses colour, the sculpture’s form and material remain one constant point of the composition – it is worth factoring that in when choosing the place.
A sculpture tailored to your garden
Order with free delivery across Europe, or ask about a commissioned sculpture tailored to your garden. The process begins with a conversation about the scale of the space and the display location; then Kris Szczypiński prepares a concept, and the sculpture is handmade in the studio – with delivery and installation on our side.
