Description
Angular planes build the cat’s back, head and tail, breaking the body line instead of smoothing it. The figurative form keeps the animal’s proportions, but speaks the language of geometry – an angle instead of a curve, a facet instead of a soft transition.
We cast the sculpture in resin in three finishes: silver-blue, silver-orange and gold-black. Resin gives a deep, rich colour and less weight than stone or metal – you can position it without reinforcement underneath.
At 50 cm tall on a 15 x 15 cm base, the form sits on a sideboard, console, pedestal or desk – a focal point that draws the eye in a smaller space. Every sculpture leaves our studio near Częstochowa, Poland, as an original or part of a short series, signed by Kris Szczypiński.
