Description
The cat’s silhouette is built from sharp planes – back and head break at an angle, and the body line trades a flowing curve for a hard, geometric edge. A figurative record of nature translated into a modern form.
The material is resin, available in three finishes: silver-blue, silver-orange and gold-black – each with a different colour intensity on the facets. Resin stays lighter than a metal cast, which makes it easier to position the sculpture without extra fixings.
At 98 cm tall (28 x 28 cm base), the form works as a standalone accent in a hallway, study or living room – large enough to shape the space while staying freestanding. We make the sculpture in our studio near Częstochowa, Poland, as an original or a short series, by Kris Szczypiński.
