Description
The horse’s neck and body are built from cut planes instead of flowing lines – the animal’s movement reads in the arrangement of angles alone, not in soft modelling. The form stays fully modern, though recognisable as a horse.
The material is resin in three finishes: silver-red, silver-purple and gold-black, each catching light on its facets with a different intensity. Resin is lighter than metal, so the sculpture stands stable without extra fixings.
A height of 92 cm on a 37 x 37 cm base works well in a hallway, study or living room as a self-contained, freestanding form – large enough to make its presence felt without dominating the room. We make the sculpture in our studio near Częstochowa, Poland, as an original or a short series.
