Contemporary sculptures
Modern sculptures for living rooms and public spaces – original forms in stainless steel and resin, in short runs.
Contemporary sculptures from an original studio
A contemporary sculpture works as the focal point of an interior: it orders the space and draws the eye before anything else does. In this collection we have gathered forms that Kris Szczypiński creates in our studio – from the dynamic lines of the Harmony series to the geometric silhouettes of Gato and Modern Horse.
For the living room, hall and office
Choose contemporary sculptures for the living room the way you choose a painting: for the light, the backdrop and the scale of the room. Smaller forms (from 60 cm) work on a chest of drawers or pedestal; larger ones (up to 190 cm) stand on their own in a hall, study or entrance area. We make every sculpture in material and finish variants – from stainless steel in graphite to resin in gold.
Steel and resin – two different characters of form
The same design will read differently depending on the material. Stainless steel, brushed or polished, plays with light and reflects its surroundings – it works well where the sculpture is meant to enter a dialogue with the interior and change appearance with the time of day. Resin works the opposite way: it does not reflect, it holds colour – gold, graphite or a two-tone variant that stays constant regardless of the light. At a similar scale, resin is also clearly lighter than metal, which makes it easier to place on furniture, not only on the floor.
An original, not serial décor
When you buy from us, you choose an artist’s work: an original or a short series from the studio near Częstochowa, available exclusively in our gallery. For every sculpture you can add a pedestal that will display it as it deserves. Free delivery across Europe, shipping in 15–20 business days.
Backdrop and light do half the work
A contemporary sculpture rarely works in isolation from its surroundings. Polished steel needs a calm backdrop – a uniform wall or simple joinery – because that is where the reflections of the form become visible, rather than disappearing in a clutter of patterns. Coloured resin handles a more complex setting, because it carries its own contrast. Side light, daylight or spot lighting, further emphasises the rhythm of lines characteristic of the Harmony or Gato series – it is worth planning for it when choosing the place, not only after the sculpture arrives.
Looking for a different scale or finish?
If none of the forms in the collection has exactly the height or colour you need, we will create a commissioned sculpture. The process begins with a conversation about the interior and the display location; then Kris Szczypiński prepares a concept for the form and material, and the sculpture is handmade in the studio – as an original tailored to your space.
