Description
The closed line of the ring has no corners or edges to interrupt its movement – this is the third realisation of the Obrączka motif, this time sized 140 x 140 x 140 cm. Equal proportions on all three axes mean the form keeps a consistent outline regardless of the viewing angle.
The material is resin, available in a graphite, silver or gold finish. Graphite and gold emphasise the contrast of the surface, while silver works through light reflections on the rounded edge of the ring – all while keeping the low weight typical of this material.
At a scale of 140 cm, the piece works well in a large hallway, a study, or as a freestanding form in a representative space. It is made in the Steel Stone Wood studio as an original or in a short series.
