Description
The ring form in the smallest instalment of the Obrączka line measures 60 x 60 x 60 cm – the proportions stay identical across all three dimensions, so the form keeps the same closed outline at an intimate scale.
The sculpture is made from resin in three finishes: graphite, silver and gold. The material gives an intense, deep colour at a low weight – graphite builds a matt contrast, while gold and silver respond to the light in a room.
At 60 cm, the form works well on a sideboard, console table, or as a pedestal piece in a study or on a desk. It is made in the Steel Stone Wood studio near Częstochowa, Poland, as an original or in a short series.
