Description
The narrower 30 x 30 cm base of the 145 cm version repeats the same language of faceted planes as the larger Origami variants. The facet edges run the full height of the column, dividing the surface into triangular fields set at different angles.
The body combines corten, its rust colour and patina deepening over time outdoors, with brushed and polished stainless steel, which gathers and reflects ambient light on its flat facets.
At 145 cm, the piece works well in a hallway, study or living room as a freestanding form, where the geometry of the facets shifts with the viewing angle. It is made in the studio near Częstochowa, Poland, as an original or short series, signed by Kris Szczypiński.
