Description
Hard, cut planes build the dog’s silhouette – head, back and legs meet at an angle, without the curves typical of a realistic animal sculpture. The animal’s stance stays legible, though the whole form speaks the language of geometry.
We cast the sculpture in resin, available in three finishes: silver-red, silver-green and gold-black. At this scale, the resin’s colour carries the composition – the planes catch light at different angles, shifting shade through the day.
At 58 x 60 x 148 cm, the form takes up space in a hallway, study or living room as a self-contained, freestanding piece – visible from several sides of the room. It is made in our studio near Częstochowa, Poland, as an original or a short series, signed by Kris Szczypiński.
