Description
The dog’s stance comes from an arrangement of cut planes – the head and back meet at an angle, and the line of the legs takes on a hard edge instead of a curve. It is the animal’s character, captured in a modern, geometric volume.
The cast is made in resin, in three finishes: silver-red, silver-green and gold-black, each with a different colour intensity across its facets. Resin stays lighter than metal at the same scale, which makes the sculpture easier to place.
At 33 x 39 x 97 cm, the form can stand in a hallway, study or living room as a self-contained accent, large enough to shape the space while remaining freestanding and easy to move. We make it in our studio near Częstochowa, Poland, as an original or a short series.
