Sculptures made in the studio, not in a factory

Every sculpture in our gallery begins with a sketch by Kris Szczypiński and ends with a hand finish in the studio near Częstochowa. You will not find mass-produced décor here – only original contemporary sculptures, made as unique pieces or short series, available exclusively with us.

Sculptures for interiors and for the garden

We divide the collection by where the sculpture is meant to live. For the living room and representative spaces, choose contemporary sculptures or sculptures for interiors. Outdoors, garden sculptures made from materials that withstand sun and frost work best. Devotees of pure form are invited to explore abstract sculptures, and if you are looking for a form with an animal character – take a look at animal sculptures.

How to match sculpture scale to the setting

Sculptures in the gallery range from about 50 to 190 cm in height, so the first question is: where will the sculpture stand, and from what distance will you look at it. Forms up to about 60 cm work well on a chest of drawers, console table or pedestal – they operate in close range, as a point you glance at from the sofa or the dining table. Mid-size sculptures, 80–140 cm, stand confidently on their own in a hall, study or by the entrance. Large forms, up to 190 cm, shape the character of an entire space and work from a distance – in the garden, on the axis of a path, or in a representative interior.

Steel, Corten, resin

We work in stainless steel, Corten and resin, with finishes from gold to graphite. We match the material to the form and the setting: Corten develops a noble, rust-red patina in the garden and contrasts more strongly with greenery each season; polished steel plays with light indoors and reflects what happens around it; and resin allows intense colour at a lower weight. None of these materials needs special care – only a place where the sculpture will be seen.

Display: pedestal, backdrop and light

How a sculpture works in a space depends not only on the piece itself, but on what surrounds it. Smaller and mid-size forms gain from a pedestal, which raises them to the right height and sets them apart from their surroundings. The backdrop matters – a stainless steel sculpture works against a calm, uniform wall, because that is what reflects the colour and texture of the interior, while Corten in the garden looks best against greenery, which changes its context throughout the year. Light completes the rest: side lighting emphasises the rhythm of the lines and the depth of the form, so it is worth considering it already when choosing the place.

Haven’t found your form?

We also create commissioned sculptures – from concept to installation. The process begins with a conversation about the setting; then Kris Szczypiński prepares a concept, and the sculpture is made in the studio near Częstochowa.
